Technician

We’re on the lookout for a skilled Technicians to join our ever-growing team, contributing to the transformation of UK staycations into unparalleled experiences. As a thriving Holiday Company with resorts in England, Scotland, and Wales, Away Resorts is at the forefront of innovation, providing an extraordinary getaway for our guests.

As a Technician at Away Resorts, you’ll play a crucial role in elevating our entertainment and guest experiences.

If you’re technically minded with a can-do attitude then we’d like to hear from you!

Essential Experience;
– Sound mixing bands, singers, groups
– Ideally experienced with Allen and Heath QU-Series consoles
– Lighting design, programming and control:
– Ideally experienced using Titan Go and ShowCAD
– Setting up PA, lighting rig, FOH area
– Troubleshooting and fault finding
– An enthusiasm to learn new equipment
– Able to use and understand audio processors and distribution
– Good knowledge in QLab, using it for video, audio, and MIDI triggering.

Desirable Experience;
– Video distribution (both matrix units and video over IP)
– Knowledge on camera set up, including PTZ cameras
– Vision mixing live camera feeds
